The building also has a café, shop, lockers, and family facilities.

Spend a full day at Copenhagen Zoo, home to more than 4,000 animals, including pandas, polar bears, giraffes, rhinos, reptiles, birds, and leafcutter ants. Walk through the Tropical House, visit Sir Norman Foster’s elephant house, watch feeding talks, and warm up indoors when Danish weather turns wet. Entry is wheelchair accessible and valid all day.
“There were not many visitors, only a couple of kindergarten and school trips, the zoo was very quiet. The animals were so close you could almost touch them. There is also a small part with goats, cows, rabbits that you could pet and a fantastic playground for the kids.”
Use one mobile ticket for 48 hours of Copenhagen sightseeing by double-decker bus and open-air boat. Visit Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen’s King’s Garden with a one-day entry ticket. Walk through preserved royal rooms, then descend to the Treasury for Denmark’s Crown Jewels, Christian IV’s 1596 crown, the Royal Regalia, and the Order of the Elephant. This is a self-guided visit, with no transport, food, or live guide included.
“The experience of Rosenborg Castle is something that you should have. You will get transferred back to the 18th century even by looking out of the windows, as it is located next to the King’s Garden in the heart of Copenhagen. Do not forget to go in the Treasury beneath the castle, where you can see the Danish Armoury, crown jewels, the magnificent royal crowns and the Crown regalia. Walking around the castle and the King's park is a memorable moment.”
THE TUBE Copenhagen is a hands-on sensory attraction across from Tivoli. You will cross a spinning Vortex, crawl and climb through unusual rooms, look beneath a curtain for underwater views, and enter a huge ball pit. Allow about an hour, wear clothes you can move in, and note that the attraction is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Visit Christian VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg and explore royal apartments, Christian X’s study, Queen Louise’s salon, the Fabergé Chamber, and the grand Gala Hall. Your ticket covers all exhibitions for one day, but there is no guided tour. Allow about 45 to 60 minutes inside.

Visit Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, 35 minutes north of Copenhagen, with a one-day entry ticket covering the castle, museum, exhibitions, Baroque Garden, and free app-based audio guide. See Christian IV’s Renaissance rooms, portraits, the Chapel, Great Hall, and royal gardens at your own pace. The Little Ferry and restaurant are extra.
